Retro Toaster: Cuisinart Classic Brushed Stainless Steel

The Cuisinart Classic Brushed Steel Toaster
comes in a variety of styles including a two slice and four slice models. All models come with the same basic functions and controls, although the four slice model has dual controls for the extra slots. Because of its size, the four slice models don’t quite have the retro toaster feel of the two slice models, although both have the brushed steel housing, controls that appear simple (although the toasters have a solid selection of functions) and the rounded corners found on many retro toasters.
These toasters feature half inch wide slots and can accommodate bagels and other thick bread as well as standard sliced bread, six different toasting settings so you can toast your bread exactly as you want it, reheat, defrost and bagel controls and an extra lift carriage lever so you can get smaller pieces of bread out of the toaster without having to resort to unplugging the toaster and digging them out with a fork. They also include a slide out crumb tray, LED (admittedly not retro, but useful) indicator lights and of course, an instruction book.
